Charity Work

At Woodward Markwell, we recognise the importance in helping others and investing in charities that help those who need it the most.

Every year, we select different charities that we would like to raise money for.

This year we are supporting Little Lifts and are joining their mission to ensure every person in the UK receiving treatment for breast cancer feels supported and cared for. Little Lifts provides thoughtfully curated gift Boxes—filled with practical items and mood-boosting treats—to help alleviate the emotional and physical side effects of treatment.

As of early 2026, the charity has gifted over 39,073 Boxes to people across the UK. By naming them our Charity of the Year, we aim to help them reach even more individuals through their hospital partnerships and the Little Kindness Fund, which supports those at non-partner hospitals.

In the past, we’ve been honoured to host a variety of charity events that have made a meaningful impact in our community. From bake sales and raffles to volunteer days and sponsored walks, each event has been a testament to our collective commitment to giving back to the community.

Together, we’ve raised funds and awareness for causes close to our hearts, such as Movember, Macmillan Cancer Support, East Anglian Children Hospice, East Anglian Air Ambulance, RSPCA and Great Ormond Street Hospital. As well as the larger charities, we have also supported lots of local charities such as St Elizabeth Hospice, Rainbows and Shoebox Christmas appeal.

These events not only foster a sense of camaraderie among our team but also remind us of the power we hold to make a difference in the lives of others. As we reflect on our past endeavours, we’re filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be a force for good, and we look forward to continuing our charitable efforts in the future.
